Appleton, Wis., August 30, 2022 – U.S. Gain, a leader in the development and distribution of alternative fuel and renewable energy, is excited to welcome Angela Lu as their new business development manager for credit generation.
In this newly added role, Lu will work alongside medium- and heavy-duty fleets pursuing electrification. Her holistic approach will connect organizations with tailored polyfuel strategies, charging and fueling infrastructure, and the associated revenue generation from low-carbon fuel programs. From initial scoping, program registration, reporting, and cyclical revenue distribution, Lu will be there to guide and advise fleets along their energy transition.

Lu began her career in Shanghai as an executive consultant at Education First (EF). Her consultative approach, solution selling, and relationship prioritization led her to rank consistently in Shanghai’s top 3 sales consultants (out of 220). Carrying into subsequent positions, Lu joined SolarCity as their field energy specialist and energy consultant. Adhering to rigorous standards and a competitive selection process, she was recognized as a national top performer and selected to join a small pilot group that designed energy programs within Tesla—from the ground up. As part of this pilot group, Lu led brand awareness efforts and built the program foundation using insights from solar products, energy storage, and electric vehicles (EVs). In constantly assessing and refining their lead capture and order process, she helped drive aggressive growth—securing channel partners in a highly competitive space.
Lu transitioned to U.S. Gain from a seven-year tenure at Tesla. Promoted from one of their founding energy consultants, she held various leadership roles as their associate energy manager, regional energy manager, and district energy partner. During this time, Lu developed high-performing teams in both the San Diego and Palm Desert territories. Most recently, she joins U.S. Gain as Tesla’s former Customer Experience Manager. In this role, she managed and operated Tesla’s number one performing showroom—receiving the most test drives and order volume in the U.S. for Q1 of 2022.
